Important New Information for
2019-2020 School Year:
College Board, creators of the Advanced Placement program, has announced significant changes to the AP exam ordering process, deadlines, late fees and cancellation fees that will be in effect for the 2019-2020 school year. Please keep reading to learn about major changes to the AP Exam Registration Process
For the 2019-2020 school year, all students must order their AP exams from October 4 through October 28, 2019. All students in AP classes who register after October 28, 2019 at 11:59 PM, will be assessed a $45.00/exam late fee. In addition, a $45.00/exam cancellation fee will be assessed for any exam canceled after October 28, 2019.
It is important that parents and students are aware of these significant changes. Please keep in mind that these changes are being mandated by the College Board for all schools and were not determined by 澳门皇冠.
Additional details regarding College Board's new process will be made available once we have received more information. Due to the significance of these changes, communication regarding AP exams will be more extensive than in prior years, to ensure that information about the new registration process is clear and concise.
Please take a moment to ensure that your email addresses and phone numbers are current with the school. Information on checking or changing information in our automated School Messenger system is posted on our website, here . We will also continue to send out listserves to both parents and students with all AP exam registration information.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation. If you have any questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Additional instructions on the registration process for 2019-2020 will be posted shortly.
In 2019, the cost of each AP exam is $105.00. Please note that students on the Federal Lunch Program will not be charged, once they check the box on the registration form asking, “Are you qualified for the Federal Free or Reduced Lunch Program?”
Additionally, 澳门皇冠 has created a financial assistance program for families who do not qualify for the Federal Lunch Program, but who may have difficulty paying the full exam fee. To apply, students must check the box on the registration form asking, “Will you be asking for financial assistance in paying for AP exams?” Download the Financial Assistance Application, and turn in the completed application to their counselors no later than February 19, 2019.
